TV personality and beauty icon Kylie Jenner has launched an all-new vegan lipstick line to support a children’s charity, called Smile Train.
Jenner had partnered with this organization to come up with her Smile Lip Kit for World Smile Day. In addition, 100% of profits from sales will be donated to Smile Train to provide cleft children worldwide with free surgeries.
“As the ambassador for Smile Train, I am excited to have the opportunity donate 100 percent of the net proceeds from my newest Lip Kit ‘Smile’ to this amazing organization,” stated Jenner. “It is incredible to know that in doing so I am helping give thousands of cleft children around the world new smiles.”
Jenner launched her cosmetics company, Kylie Cosmetics, in 2016 and currently sells 18 lip kits, all of which are made with vegan ingredients, excluding the Candy K Shade. In addition, none of them are tested on animals.
Jenner’s company has joined the several others now offering vegan products. Earlier this year, tattoo artist Kat Von D announced that she will be transforming her entire beauty line into an all-vegan line. In addition, The Body Shop added a vegan eyeshadow palette, ColourPop added a vegan lipstick line and Velvet 59, an all-vegan makeup brand, recently opened their flagship store in California.
