Committed to a health-conscious profile, The YES Bar just launched a vegan snack line comprised of two bars.
The two flavours come in Dark Chocolate Chip and Salted Maple Pecan, and the bars are made with organic coconut nectar rather than the usual organic honey – the only non-vegan ingredient in other bars.
The YES Bar is also committed to promoting sustainability with their new packaging made form compostable materials.
“With the increasing global desire for responsibly-sourced, vegan-friendly products, The YES Bar wanted to ensure that their customers were given options to fulfill their dietary needs without comprising the same great taste they have come to trust,” the company wrote in a press release.
“In addition, The YES Bar is also launching a complete packaging re design to feature high end white kraft paper with compostable point-of-sales boxes, all bearing hand drawn food illustrations that showcase the beauty of the gourmet ingredients in its bars.”
The YES Bar was created back in 2012 by Abigail Wald, who found it hard to shop for her son who had so many food sensitivities. She wanted to stop saying “no” to food products, so she went to her kitchen to create a snack she and her son could say “yes” to – and that’s how The YES Bar was born.
All bars are based on natural foods, including nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and seasonings. The products are also free of preservatives, fillers, soy, and refined sweeteners.
The vegan line, along with the rest of the company’s products, are available on their website and on Amazon.
