Six-Course Vegan Wine Pairing Coming to Phoenixville

When vegan restaurant TASTE first opened in Phoenixville, PA, people were eager to try the menu created by Chef Theo Charitos. Now, they’ve put together one of the coolest events to be introduced to America’s vegan scene: a six-course vegan dinner and wine pairing.

The TASTE Vegan Winemakers Dinner will be hosted on Thursday, August 31 at 7 pm, and execute chef Theo Charitos will put his skills to the test by putting together a six-course dinner, with each meal paired with a select wine from Sand Castle Winery.

The dinner will cost $65 per person and reservations can be made at 484-924-9530 or on the Sand Castle Winery website.

Here are the meals and pairings:

1st Course

Portuguese chicken & sausage black bean kake with braised baby kale

Paired with Chardonnay Classic

2nd Course

Huli Huli rib sliders with root veg shed and spicy spread on a sweet bun

Paired with Dry Rose

3rd Course

Lao street tacos with lao sausage, sweet and spicy pico, sweet Sriracha and avocado

Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon

4the Course

Chicken BBW with double batter, maple bacon jam and carrot crisp

Paired with Pinot Noir

5th Course

Chocolate Strawberry Mousse

Paired with Alpine Spicy

6th Course

Alpine spice sundae with vanilla ice cream, Alpine Spice wine infusion, cinnamon dust and mint

Paired with Late Harvest Riesling
