There’s a new milk in town that is healthier than any other kind of milk. It’s called pea milk.
Ripple has created a delicious and creamy milk made from peas that is dairy-free, nut-free and gluten-free.
The reason why this food company chose peas is because “they are the least expensive, most sustainable plant source of protein,” according to Dr. Neil Renninger, the co-founder and co-CEO of Ripple Foods.
In fact, this new creation has the same amount of protein as dairy milk, as well as high levels of calcium and vitamin D, which are both nutrients that the human body needs.
In addition, Ripple’s pea milk is environmentally-friendly, as it takes less water to make this kind of milk than any other kind of milk there is. In fact, its “water footprint” is over 90% better than dairy and almond milk, as it takes 1,000 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of dairy milk and more than 1 gallon of water to make one individual almond, to be exact.
In the end, Ripple milk is not only full of protein, but the process of creating it is also good for out earth. Are you ready to try the popular product of today?
