There’s been a huge victory for the animals! Thanks to the dedicated work of animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), major cereal company General Mills has terminated animal experiments.

According to PETA writer Michelle Kretzer, the company’s decision was “for the purpose of making health claims about its foods after talks with PETA about the cruelty of animal studies and their irrelevance to humans.”

Back in 2015, General Mills announced their support for eliminating the horrible process of dehorning cows on farms, following a PETA exposé.

PETA is currently working on getting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) onboard with the anti-animal experiment movement. You can support the movement here.
