Disney may be bringing magic into children’s lives, but now they’ve become the latest company to add one of the latest food innovations to their menu.

The entertainment company is taking Impossible Foods‘ vegan “meat” created for the Impossible Burger and using it for their “No Meatball” sub, designed to taste just like a meat sub – minus most of the cruelty.

Constantine Spyrou, from Foodbeast, tried the sub and claimed that it was “the closest a vegan meat has ever gotten to the real deal.”

Anybody interested in trying the sub can purchase it at California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival. The festival runs until April 12 and the sub can be purchased for $10.99.

Vegans should note, however, that the sandwich is vegetarian as it is topped with mozzarella and eggs are used in the meatball batter. However, this partnership with Impossible Foods is a big step in the right direction for Disney. Perhaps the next menu item they introduce will be vegan?
