There’s exciting news from the fashion industry! BCBG just banned fur and angora!

This victory wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the help from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and peta2, who spent lots of time persuading BCBG to drop fur and angora. They wrote:

“After learning about our appeal, executives of Marquee Brands, the BCBG brands’ new owner, let PETA know that fur and angora are now banned.”

BCBGMAXAZRIA and BCBGeneration have joined many other designers who refuse to sell fur and angora, including Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren, H&M, and Inditex. Earlier this month, Gucci announced that they would drop fur starting with their Spring 2018 collection.
