Actress, model and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson joined the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Help Refugees to visit a Dunkirk refugee camp to deliver cruelty-free items including cozy cruelty-free hats and gloves, fresh fruit, and animal-themed activity books with pencils.

“Teaching children about animals’ needs and helping them understand that all living beings have feelings can help them grow up to be empathetic young people, and these books will hopefully offer a few hours of diversion to kids who may have been forced to leave behind everything from their former homes,” PETA wrote.

Pamela Anderson’s huge involvement in the animal rights movement has earned her the title of PETA’s Person of the Year 2016. Her empathetic action has earned her a huge applause from us and other activists.
