Thanks to vegan blogger Fat Gay Vegan, the vegan scene is changing. To add to the scene, he will be hosting a three-day vegan market at Hackney Downs in London after teaming up with Eat Work Art.
The Hackney Downs Festive Vegan Market will take place on December 22, 23 and 24, featuring many different vendors each day.
The three-day market is a result of demand from vegans. Last year, the one-day-only event attracted 5,000 people with queues at every single stand. The growth in demand for veganism meant that the market would have to last three days instead of one.
“Hackney Downs Vegan Market has become one of the most iconic locations in the UK for vegans and their friends,” said Fat Gay Vegan. “Each Saturday we welcome hundreds of visitors who enjoy our unique line up of independent vegan traders.
“The Festive version is our chance to celebrate a full year of the market being held at Hackney Downs Studios.”
Fat Gay Vegan had made his vegan market a monthly event back in March, and then made it weekly later in September. Now, the vegan Christmas market is back to add more festive fun!
Admission is free and the market is open from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on December 22, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on December 23, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on December 24.
The event is taking place at Hackney Downs Studios, 17 Amhurst Terrace, London E8 2BT.
