Vegan tattoo artist, model, entrepreneur and animal activist Kat Von D recently announced the addition of a new range of cruelty-free makeup brushes for her makeup brand, Kat Von D Beauty.
Her announcement was first revealed on Instagram, where Kat wrote: “So excited about launching an entire #crueltyfree and #vegan line of makeup brushes for @katvondbeauty! [coming soon] I’ve teamed up with my #KvDArtistryCollective artists to create the most effective brush formations, using the highest grade synthetic fibers that mimic the same product distribution you would get from animal-based bristles.”
Kat Von D is very proud of her cruelty-free brand, and remarks that we have entered an age where animals do not need to suffer for our needs.
“We are living in amazing times right now where technology is making it so easy to make compassionate choices in the products we purchase, without having to exploit animals,” she wrote.
