We have turkeys sanctuaries and dog shelters, but have we ever thought of cow sanctuaries? Have we every stopped to think about their similarities to other animals? Well, turns out these Russian animal activists have, since they just opened the first cow sanctuary in the country.
The cows living at the shelter (either bought by the activists or given as gifts) are provided with lots of food and everything necessary to live a life free from abuse. They even get special treats on their birthday!
Many people approach the deal with animal abuse through protesting in big cities. However, these animal activists have decided to come up with an idea that is much more interesting.
