Editorial – Are you passionate about writing and veganism? We are looking for volunteers who can write articles in the following vegan and cruelty-free areas: fashion, beauty, lifestyle, nutrition, travel, news and reviews. This is a great opportunity for writers who want to build their résumé.

If you are interested, please send a written pitch to: info@vegangazette.com. Please title the e-mail subject as “Editorial.”

Include in your pitch 2-3 ideas for articles you would like to contribute to Vegan Gazette, as well as your writing background, including some of your published works (written or in the form of a url). Please send your pitch in the form of a PDF document.

Here are some tips for getting published on Vegan Gazette:

  1. Familiarize with the website. You’ll want to become familiar with the article formats and writing styles here at Vegan Gazette. How are travel guides written? What sort of information is included in a news article? What is published under each area related to veganism? These are some of the many things you should study, but can be discussed further with the editor-in-chief, depending on your area of strength.
  2. Don’t send in a long pitch. Sometimes less is more. Keep your pitch 3-4 pages long, presenting quality content.

Recipe Developer – Is coming up with delicious plant-based recipes your talent? We’d be delighted to see what you can make! We’re always on the lookout for people with recipes whom they’d like to publish online.

All recipes will be published by one of our editors; however, the copyright will go to the original creator. Please make sure that your recipe is your own work.

Send in your recipe and photos to info@vegangazette.com with the title “Recipe Developer” to see how to proceed. We look forward to hearing from you!
