Viva! Vegan Festival is the UK’s most popular vegan event – and it’s returning to Liverpool again this summer.

Hosted at Bluecoat Chambers, the seven-hour festival will return on August 12, with the number of attendees estimated to be around 4,000.

Admission will cost £3 for adults, and attendees under 16 will get in for free. Everyone will receive a free copy of Everyone’s Going Vegan magazine and admission includes free tastings and health advice.

There will also be more than 100 stalls, selling items from veg-friendly food products to cruelty-free cosmetics. There will also be cooking demonstrations, talks and a zone designed specially for kids.

“Interest in veganism is expected to continue to boom in 2017,” said Viva! campaigns director Justin Kerswell.

“There are already a growing number of people in Liverpool who are vegan or vegetarian but this event is for everyone and all are welcome.”

While Viva! is a vegan event, one of its goals is to be a friendly space where meat eaters and others alike can come and find out more about veganism and the benefits of the vegan lifestyle.

“For the increasing numbers of people who want to find out more about improving their health, saving animals and protecting the environment, this is an amazing event which will entertain and inspire,” Kerswell continued.

“Showcasing the best vegan food in Liverpool, the Liverpool Viva! Vegan Festival will be a great day out that all the family can enjoy.”

The festival will be held on August 12, 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm. For more details about the event, please click here.
