London is arguably the most vegan-friendly city in the UK. They have vegan shops, kebabs, diners and more as many cruelty-free eateries open across the city. Veggie Pret, owned by Pret A Manger, has been a huge hit, with one location on Great Eastern Street and another in Soho. Now, London residents will be happy to know that a vegan street food festival is coming soon!

On August 18 or 19, head on over to West Handyside in King’s Cross, since Livin’ on the Veg will be setting up many mouthwatering food stalls at their event. You’ll be able to taste the flavours of many international places from Thai cuisine to Venezuelan food – minus the meat.

According to KERB, organizers promise that there won’t be a single “mung bean or buddha bowl in sight” and attendees will instead be treated to “deep fried buffalo wings, chocolate brownie mud pies, red Thai curry pots, chip butties and Tandoori naans (but not as you know them).”

Tickets start at £30 per person (sorry, £25 early birds are sold out), which includes a portion of the food served at each of the eight stalls and a cocktail, which will be served at the entrance. If you fall in love with the food from a stall, you can purchase more afterwards and then head on over to play games and have more fun. However, don’t forget to vote for your favourite meal as the event must declare a winner.

Children under 12 are free, excluding food.
