VAUTE Couture, “The World’s First All-Vegan Brand,” is opening a permanent location in Manhattan, New York. This is their second retail location, in addition to their first retail store located in Brooklyn.
They will be hosting a grand opening party, which will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016. You can come for vegan cupcakes baked by chef Chloe Coscarelli, macaroons from Sweet Maresa, and lip tar from the popular cosmetics brand, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.
“Being in this neighbourhood – with all the beautiful stores, restaurants, and hotels – means people will come check out cruelty-free fashion and maybe realize that what you eat [and] what you wear makes a difference,” said Leanne Maily Hilgart, the founder and CEO of VAUTE Couture.
At this store, you can find items such as bodysuits that are organic, swimwear made from recycled carpet fibres in their new swimwear line, as well as VAUTE Couture’s signature coats that are 100% wool-free.
In addition, you can sit down and relax after shopping at their in-store café that will sell vegan snacks.
Even more, all clothing will be 50 percent off during the opening weekend (August 13 and 14, 2016) and 40 percent off during the first week after the grand opening (August 15 – 22, 2016).
