Get ready, Ontario, since there’s a vegan event coming to Sudbury this September!
Hosted by South End restaurant Taphouse Northern Grill and Pub, the Vegan-Fest will feature free samples of nachos, pizzas and burgers for vegans alike. The event pays tribute to those following the plant-based lifestyle and do not want to attend the Ribfest happening on the same weekend.
“We know these people especially try to stay away from it,” Stacey Cameron, owner and general manager of Taphouse Northern Grill and Pub, said regarding the Ribfest.
“We decided to throw a party for them so they have something to attend that weekend.”
Taphouse edited their menu a few months ago to make vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options more available.
The Vegan-Fest will take place from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, and you’re invited! Cameron is especially hoping for nice weather so that the event can be held on the gorgeous outdoor patio.
