Vegans in the UK, get ready for something deliciously amazing! Pizza Hut is officially offering a vegan cheese option for their pizzas after a successful trial.
For many vegans and lactose-intolerants, ordering pizza meant getting a Pizza Margherita with no cheese. But now, there’s a dairy-free cheese option that accommodates everyone’s needs!
“After an amazing customer response to our vegan cheese trial earlier this year, we’re pleased to announced that the dairy-free alternative will now be served in all of our restaurants nationwide and features as a permanent fixture on our menus,” said Gareth Hopley, Head of Communications at Pizza Hut.
“We’re excited that all of our cheese-loving vegan customers will be able to grab a slice of the action and no longer have to miss out – we can’t wait to hear their thoughts,” he continued.
Pizza Hut is using cheese from vegan brand Violife, whose dairy-free cheeses are both preservative-free and non-GMO.
Earlier this month, Violife released a vegan cheese platter for Christmas composed of four delicious dairy-free creations. Alongside Pizza Hut’s delicious announcement, it has become clear that veganism is definitely becoming more mainstream.
