Yesterday, Paul McCartney released a short film as part of his “Meat Free Monday” campaign, featuring an unreleased song from Sir Paul himself.

McCartney has been working on the campaign with his daughters, Mary and Stella McCartney, since 2009. The short film, “One Day a Week,” features appearances from Mary and Stella, along with Emma Stone and Woody Harrelson.

“Perhaps it’s time to ask ourselves the question, ‘What can I as an individual do to help?'” McCartney asks in the film. “Well, there’s a simple but significant way to help protect the planet and all its inhabitants. And it starts with just one day a week. One day without eating animal products can have a huge impact in helping maintain that delicate balance that sustains us all.”

The new film also features songs from McCartney’s album Standing Stone, alongside his unreleased song, titled “Botswana.”

The McCartney family launched “Meat Free Monday” to raise awareness about the harming impact that eating meat has on our planet, while encouraging people to help slow down climate change by ditching meat from their diets at least one day a week.
