IKEA is launching their own food truck that is going to hit the road this summer to serve meatballs. They will be travelling around the US and stopping at festivals to serve their new delicious creations.
Their truck will feature a menu composed of meatballs of many kinds – including vegan meatballs. Their Veggie California Stack is their vegan option, made of a vegetable ball and served with wasabi vegannaise, pickled ginger and avocado. The vegetable balls are made of carrots, chickpeas, corn and kale. In addition, they will be giving away a meal of these meatballs for free!
IKEA’s truck will make its first stop at Chicago’s Wicker Park Fest, which will be held on July 23rd and 24th. They will then venture on to the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival on July 30th.
