Guide to Vegan Marshmallows

SHARE

The holiday season calls for roasting marshmallows and eating s’mores. The only problem: many marshmallows contain an ingredient called “gelatin,” which is obtained from pigs’ body parts.

However, in our modern society where veganism is growing, many companies have started experimenting with innovative food ideas and thanks to vegans and entrepreneurs, we have a wide range of vegan marshmallows to choose from. Here are our picks:

1. Freedom Pink and White Vegetarian/Vegan Marshmallows

Dandies is a favourite amongst vegans and others alike. Their marshmallows come in a few flavours – including Vanilla, Mini Vanilla Peppermint, and Pumpkin – and they are all made with natural ingredients.

Dandies Marshmallows are also 100% vegan, allergen-free and non-GMO.
