All Brits are crazy about their afternoon tea; however, what happens when you go vegan? Well, there’s no need to worry about missing out on a huge part of the British culture because a luxury hotel in London now serves all-vegan afternoon tea.

Located in Knightsbridge, The Egerton House Hotel features vegan scones, sandwiches and treats in their newly launched menu.

While there are other places that will swap out animal products for vegan versions of your favourite afternoon tea treats, the Egerton House menu is special because it was created with vegans in mind and is always available.

According to The Huffington Post UK: “The new menu features a choice of fine leaf teas, plus homemade vegan cakes including an iced chocolate brownie, vanilla and coconut sponge, lemon drizzle cakes, a fruit and custard tartlet and vanilla cupcake.”

In addition, the menu’s unique freshly cut sandwiches feature delicious veg fillings, including grilled vegetables, guacamole and rocket, chickpea-coronation, cucumber and margarine and tomato and olive tapenade on sun-dried tomato bread.

Afternoon tea costs £40 per person and pre-booking is suggested. This vegan experience is a one-of-a-kind!
